Wreck-It-Ralph

Placement title card for Wreck-It
Ralph from the movies official
Facebook page.
Walt Disney Animation Studios next animated film is entitled Wreck-It Ralph. Hopefully we will learn a lot about this film at the D23 convention next Friday. That's August 19! Be sure to check back here for all the latest information on all the announcements made about Disney's upcoming animated films! I am very excited to learn more about Wreck-It Ralph. It sounds like a very fun film and I can't wait to see what the characters look like, the visual style of the film, and learn more about the story. Here is a synopsis of the film straight from Disney:
"Wreck-It Ralph (voice of Reilly) longs to be as beloved as his game’s perfect Good Guy, Fix-It Felix (voice of McBrayer). Problem is, nobody loves a Bad Guy. But they do love heroes… so when a modern, first-person shooter game arrives featuring tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Lynch), Ralph sees it as his ticket to heroism and happiness. He sneaks into the game with a simple plan—win a medal—but soon wrecks everything, and accidently unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens every game in the arcade. Ralph’s only hope? Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Silverman), a young troublemaking “glitch” from a candy-coated cart racing game who might just be the one to teach Ralph what it means to be a Good Guy. But will he realize he is good enough to become a hero before it’s “Game Over” for the entire arcade?"
The film stars John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch. It's directed by Rich Moore.

Welcome to the Magic.

I have decided to start blogging about Disney Animation and animation in general! I hope that a few people out there may find enjoyment in my posts. I will be posting reviews of animated movies as they come out, I will be reviewing dvd and blu-ray releases of animated movies, I will be bringing you the latest news on all things Disney Animation, and I will hopefully open some peoples eyes to the wonder that animation from Disney can bring. So for right now, please be patient with me as I try to put my blog together, start bringing you posts, and figure everything out. In a perfect world I will post once a day. But this isn't a perfect world so... I'm sorry if I don't post all the time. I will try to keep this consistent!
