2012-2013 Animated Films



     The year is half over now and only a handful of animated films have been released. A review of the first half of the year will be coming soon, but until then, let's look to the future! In this blog post I will be look at the upcoming films for the rest of 2012 and onto 2013; organized by release date. With Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted already, the next animated film to be released is:
     
     Brave:  Merida is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus and Queen Elinor. Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin, surly Lord Macintosh and cantankerous Lord Dingwall. Merida’s actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Witch for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it’s too late.

     As of right now, these are all the scheduled animated films for 2012-2013! Keep in mind that there will be plenty of schedule changes and additions! But this gives us a pretty good look at what is to come. If I missed any let me know! I tried to hit them all and will continue to search for other films. Next up for the blog we have reviews for all three Madagascar films, a review of the year so far, a closer look at some of the trailers released for upcoming films, and any other type of animation news.
